Working Together
Théâtre Tricolore wishes to have the widest possible ‘theatrical appeal’.
- We would like to encourage small productions,
- arrange theatre and cinema visits,
- encourage members to write, and
- to improve members knowledge of techniques on stage and back stage.
The membership will be active in all aspects of the group and the inaugural meeting was held on 15th February attended by over 30 enthusiastic participants, most of whom have already become members. Théâtre Tricolore will aim for:
- Complete transparency between the membership and the committee.
- All committee meetings will be open to all members as observers.
- As in the UK, the provisional founding team suggests that there will be time in meetings, when anyone can speak from the floor to comment and make suggestions.
There will also be ‘production’ meetings open to all members.
- These meetings will discuss all production proposals
- the whole membership will decide which will go forward.
- A director and producer will then be appointed, a budget assigned and then the production team will take over.
- The production team will give the membership a monthly progress report
We will build up a list of venues and will ‘tour’ some productions in the region. Contact
